The traditional ageing cellar
Discover the art of ageing in an authentic working cellar lined with oak caskets where the half-light is charged with the scent of cognac and the walls are blackened by the eaux-de-vie that has evaporated over the years—a phenomenon known as the “angels’ share”.

Dive into the history, savoir-faire and secrets of the Maison Hennessy. This journey will take you from one bank of the Charente river to the other in a subtle blend between tradition and modernity to create a unique experience.

The adventure culminates with an introduction to tasting cognac like a pro, during which you’ll learn the secrets that go into blending and tasting the iconic Hennessy V.S and V.S.O.P.
